Miss Utah USA, Kendyl Bell January 10, 2013

This is Miss Utah USA, Kendyl Bell, for 2012! This photo shoot was shot a few months ago. I shot this session just days before Kendyl crowned the new Miss Utah USA for 2013. Not only is Kendyl gorgeous, but she is a fantastic model to work with as well! Fun fact: I first met Kendyl when she was only 17 and was a model on Allyses Bridal Teen Fashion Board. I worked with all the models on the team, teaching them how to walk runway, and I taught the beauty classes on hair, skin, and makeup! Great memories!

I hope you all had a lovely Holiday season. I took some some time off, but I am back in the swing of things and have so many beautiful shoots to share!

How I love working with Teresa, (this fabulous model) and Julie, my fantastic makeup artist and hairstylist! I photographed these gorgeous outfits for Bella Ella Boutique, which is a local clothing store with locations in American Fork, Spanish Fork, and Lindon. I love doing Utah fashion photography, and it’s even more exciting to see my work used in magazines, and other marketing outlets.

MAC Shoot (Inspired) | Fashion Photography December 10, 2012

Oh, how I loved this MAC shoot! MAC makeup it the BEST. It is edgy, bright, vibrant, and it is the brand of choice for a lot of make up artists. I have absolutely loved taking this fashion photography course from The Academy of Art University, and my professor, Ron Cadiz (he is a celebrity and fashion magazine photographer) has been amazing.

For this shoot, my incredible makeup artist and hair stylist, Julie, got really creative and created four different animal inspired looks with the help of a fellow makeup artist, Sarah Bird. For this shoot, I also got to work with some talented models, Mary Peterson (you might recognize her from this shoot and this one.) and Jana Dubois (you might recognize her from a shoot I did with her last year).

I love shooting Utah fashion photography! You might recognize the first model featured, Teresa, from another session we had together a few months ago.
